Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 and valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

16874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16874 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
