When you open intake air heater "a", circuit open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low . On the other hand secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit is the final reason of the code. |

16873 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16873 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
