Diagnosing engine bar with bank 2, system too lean at idle It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm . So for next reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16870 Possible Causes:
16870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16870 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
