When you open direct ozone reduction catalyst, efficiency below threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high or bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high is the final reason of the code. |
16868 Possible Causes:
16868 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16868 Code
- Inspect all the connections pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
