When you open oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, forced idle and wait then b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
16858 Possible Causes:
16858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16858 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
