The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low or change glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16852 Possible Causes:
16852 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent

- Inspect all the connections bank 2, system too lean at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
