16851 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty and wait then ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
16851 Possible Causes:
16851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16851 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
