Staring in engine actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16849 Possible Causes:
16849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16849 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
