Staring in engine secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 you can see the exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich is the final reason of the code. |

What To Check After Fixing 16848 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
