Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), regulation range exceeded or secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16842 Possible Causes:
16842 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 16842 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
