This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ecm/pcm power input, signal low you can see the oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
16836 Possible Causes:
16836 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 16836 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
