This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm or change secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16833 Possible Causes:
16833 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 16833 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
