The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, implausible message of the clutch electrics or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

16826 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16826 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
