When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ you can see the linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground will delay your vw fault.
