This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of brake system ecu or throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
16825 Possible Causes:
16825 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16825 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
