Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
16818 Possible Causes:
16818 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16818 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
