This code were stamped on VW Engine case coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reversing light, circuit short to ground you can see the reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

16817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
