16816 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data bus powertrain, missing message from airbag controller and nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
16816 Possible Causes:
16816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16816 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "a", low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
