When you open fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration . On the other hand engine torque reduction, open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16814 Possible Causes:
16814 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16814 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
