This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), upper limit exceeded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) also secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16802 Possible Causes:
16802 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 16802 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
