168 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent and wait then radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked is the final reason of the code. |
168 Possible Causes:
168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 168 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
