168 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction you can see the oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
168 Possible Causes:
168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 168 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
