Staring in engine butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed you can see the event data recorder request, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16796 Possible Causes:
16796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16796 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
