Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of instrument cluster causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger control module 1, implausible message or data bus powertrain, implausible message from immobilizer is the final reason of the code. |
16789 Possible Causes:
16789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16789 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
