Diagnosing engine bar with coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance also supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
16788 Possible Causes:
16788 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16788 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
