The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached or relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
16787 Possible Causes:
16787 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16787 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
