This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, lower limit not reached and wait then turbo/super charger, under-boost condition is the final reason of the code. |
16785 Possible Causes:
16785 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16785 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
