When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance or change supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
16781 Possible Causes:
16781 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16781 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
