Diagnosing engine bar with engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer and wait then powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |

16779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16779 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
