The problem is about charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible and wait then valve for fuel bypass (n312), interruption/short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
16778 Possible Causes:
16778 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 16778 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control module 2, malfunction
