This something to do with the intake camshaft timing motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3 or change internal control module: eeprom error will delay your vw fault. |

What To Check After Fixing 16746 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
