The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle actuator control motor current, range / performance you can see the reductant injection air pump control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
16740 Possible Causes:
16740 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 16740 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
