This something to do with the intake camshaft timing particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal or control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
16738 Possible Causes:
16738 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16738 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
