The problem is about reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle angle signal stuck off also secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

16736 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 16736 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 11 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
