The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust pressure sensor It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
16731 Possible Causes:
16731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16731 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
