When you open transmission control unit relay, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses . So for next vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
16722 Possible Causes:
16722 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16722 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
