This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit also evaporative emission system switching valve control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16722 Possible Causes:
16722 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 16722 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
