This code were stamped on VW Engine case brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow and please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu will delay your vw fault. |
16714 Possible Causes:
16714 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 16714 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
