Staring in engine turbocharger speed sensor, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit or secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16711 Possible Causes:
16711 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
