Staring in engine pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ and throttle actuator control system, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
16710 Possible Causes:
16710 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16710 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
