When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance and exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
16709 Possible Causes:
16709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16709 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
