Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit also vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster is the final reason of the code. |
16709 Possible Causes:
16709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16709 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
