Accumulated in electronic control units so reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open or change engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

16706 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16706 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply, voltage low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
