16703 Description And Summary : |

When you open engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground also givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
16703 Possible Causes:
16703 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 16703 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
