Diagnosing engine bar with ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system charging system, voltage low and wait then egr system, regulation range exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
16702 Possible Causes:
16702 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16702 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
