The problem is about exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor internal control module, driver error . So for next cylinder 8 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |

16702 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
