Accumulated in electronic control units so malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
16700 Possible Causes:
16700 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16700 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
