16699 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high . So for next activation starter relay 2, short to ground will delay your vw fault.

16699 Possible Causes:

16699 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
