The problem is about ignition coil 'h' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller or system too rich at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
16699 Possible Causes:
16699 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 16699 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
