Staring in engine fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more park/neutral switch input circuit . So for next mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high is the final reason of the code. |
16685 Possible Causes:
16685 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 16685 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
