The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf or change barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

16684 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 16684 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
