When you open relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed gear/ratio monitoring adaptation, limit reached you can see the mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

16682 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16682 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
