This code were stamped on VW Engine case glow plug/heater relay circuit, electrical to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so water in fuel sensor, circuit range / performance and ignition switch run position, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |

16668 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 16668 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
