Staring in engine transmission control unit (j217), programming error causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system shift lock, short to b+ and wait then hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
16654 Possible Causes:
16654 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 16654 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
