This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit and wait then secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
16653 Possible Causes:
16653 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 16653 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
